Daniel Chavez faked an injury to get out of running the 41st annual Capitol 10,000 so he could propose to his girlfriend Lauren Crunk in front of the Texas Capitol Sunday morning as she ran the race with friends. He greeted her with a sign he held last year when they met for the first time at the same race. She said yes in tears and to cheers from fellow runners. [Ralph Barrera/American-Statesman]
